Description: “Angels aren’t supposed to fall in love, especially with each other. But for the record, you were worth it.”

Grace Tate is a Protection Angel and Vampire Hunter, and she has always followed the rules. But some rules are made to be broken…

Until now the fight against evil has been simple, and falling in love was never part of the plan. So what happens when it’s beyond Grace’s control, and when she least expects it she falls for the wrong person?

All hell breaks loose, that’s what.

At Hopetown Valley High, not everything is as it seems, and the one person Grace thought was her enemy becomes her most important ally.

Blood will be shed, lives will be lost and friendships will be tested. It all comes down to one decision, and when Grace tries to save all those dear to her, she realises not everyone can be—or wants to be—saved.

REVIEW: When I was given the opportunity to read Fall For Me I was looking forward to start. I am a big fan of angels and vampires and since this book promised me both I was thrilled. The story starts with a great prologue which was what got me even more excited and though it started slow I was still looking forward to more development.

However, as I kept reading the story started to get silly. Though I understand this is a YA , I also thought that I would be reading about kick-ass characters that would make me jump from excitement. As I keep reading and hoping the story picks up my interest again, I was having problem identify with the character. Grace is an angel part of the Tate family who she has been fighting along the Tate family for over 150 years. Grace is reborn into this family over and over and now, her and her brother Archer are keeping the fight that has started long ago against vampires. Though her characters starts well, and her priorities are set her personality and relevance starts to slip and she becomes a very annoying, immature and selfish 17 year old angel.

The promise of this book is good, the fight between angels and vampires is always fun because both beings bring skills and intelligence to the table, however, Fall For Me doesn’t necessarily do that.  I felt it was lacking on character development or simply the idea of these teens, angels and human fighting vampires. Grace an angel who has lived for a long time on earth was most time careless, reckless and immature, having change of hearts that not only affected her but everyone else around her. Archer was sort of an enhanced human who was born for the sole purpose of kicking evil’s ass and maintain the family’s line alive, however he almost became irrelevant the moment the love triangle started to surface. It wasn’t all bad for me, I liked the idea of vampires and angels fighting, angels being kicked out of the heaven and falling in love, what I didn’t enjoy as much was the silly back and forth between the characters, Josh – Grace & Seth. Perhaps it would’ve worked for me if Grace would’ve handled things with more maturity and didn’t jump between boys as much as she did. For an angel who lived on earth for so long she was extremely clueless and inexperience. Being the last in the Tate family, neither Archer or her gave much importance to that, giving me the impression that the author failed to keep that in mind.

I actually liked the last part of the book, the end was probably the only part I got to enjoyed because it delivered the high needed to maintain interest. I would probably read book 2, I want to see what Grace does next, I am hopeful the author brings out a more mature Grace, one that weighs the consequences of her actions and promises, one who can understand the importance of maintaining and keeping her brother alive and the line, and one that does more than sob about losing one boy or the other. More fights and confrontation is also expected, more drama, the importance and the uncertainty felt by Josh and Charlotte and what part she plays in the future of vampires and angels. I certainly would like to find characters who were a bit more involved and developed. More drama with a lot more action and controversy. Teens falling in love and falling out of love can become boring, I want to see more involvement from the angel side, bring kick ass vampires, a bit stronger and malicious. I would love to see more challenges and heart breaking situations.

Do I recommend this book? I do, ONLY if you do not mind an immature heroine.
